Not every recording job needs a rack, a server and a licence. Some need one handset captured, in a shed, on a boat, or at a site nobody visits often.
Recordari is a lightweight recorder for organisations that need a single telephone or radio handset captured and do not want an enterprise system to do it. It is a small black box and a cable, preconfigured and ready to connect.
Getting the recording back
Recordings are searched and replayed from a simple web interface, reachable over WiFi from a smartphone, tablet or laptop, or over a network cable from a PC. There is a live demo if you would rather click around it than read about it.
Built to be left alone
The system and its recordings are stored on a microSD card, the same kind used in a phone or camera. Future software updates are performed by swapping the card for a new one supplied by CallTech, which means a site in a remote location does not need a visit to stay current.
CallTech developed Recordari out of Voice Logger, a standalone recorder built for Codan in 2018 for exactly this problem - a record of what was said on one radio, without a rack to put it in.
